This document describes techniques and systems for autonomous parking in locations without cellular coverage. The system may include a processor that obtains a request for autonomous parking in a parking environment. The system may then determine whether parking space information indicative of available space is obtained. In response to determining that parking space information is obtained, the system may autonomously operate the host vehicle to navigate to and park in the available space. The system determines whether a communication system of the host vehicle has a cellular connection available to assist in navigation. In response to determining that the cellular connection is unavailable, the system transmits a location of the host vehicle to a processor via a proxy vehicle having an operable cellular connection. AUTONOMOUS PARKING FEATURES can remain available in locations without cellular network coverage by utilizing a mesh network between vehicles to share their cellular connections.
