The invention relates to the technical field of electrical equipment hoisting devices, and particularly discloses a telescopic mechanical suspension arm which comprises a suspension arm body, a hydraulic telescopic rod, a winding assembly and a base. The suspension arm main body comprises a plurality of suspension arms; the plurality of lifting arms are sequentially connected in a sliding manner; the lazy arm at the tail end of the plurality of lazy arms is arranged on the base; one end of the hydraulic telescopic rod is connected with the lazy arm at the tail end, and the other end of the hydraulic telescopic rod is connected with the lazy arm at the head end; the winding assembly comprises a winding motor and a winding rope; the winding motor is arranged on the base or the suspension arm at the tail end; one end of the winding rope is connected with the winding motor, and the other end of the winding rope is connected with the headmost suspension arm. According to the scheme, the suspension arm body can extend in a narrow area in a transformer substation through the hydraulic telescopic rod for operation; in the contraction process of the hydraulic telescopic rod, the winding motor can drive the winding rope to be wound, the lifting arm body and the hydraulic telescopic rod are pulled in an auxiliary mode to contract, and the situation that the hydraulic telescopic rod is not retracted thoroughly is avoided.
