The invention relates to detection of a wake-up signal indicative of a security event in a battery. Specifically, a computer system (600) is provided that includes processing circuitry (602) configured to process detection of a wake-up signal (30). The wake-up signal indicates a hazard in a battery (25) associated with the vehicle (1). The processing circuit (602) is further configured to:-attempt to detect the wake-up signal (30) during the one or more detection periods, and-avoid attempting to detect the wake-up signal (30) during the one or more idle periods.
