The invention relates to a transmittance-variable optical laminated body, a manufacturing method thereof and a smart window comprising the same. The transmittance-variable optical laminated body comprises a liquid crystal layer comprising frame sealing glue; a first polarizing plate including a first functional coating layer and positioned on one surface of the liquid crystal layer; a second polarizing plate including a second functional coating layer and positioned on the other surface of the liquid crystal layer; a first transparent conductive layer formed between the first polarizing plate and the liquid crystal layer; and a second transparent conductive layer formed between the second polarizing plate and the liquid crystal layer, in which at least one of the first transparent conductive layer and the second transparent conductive layer is formed so as to be in direct contact with either the first polarizing plate or the second polarizing plate. The surface pencil hardness of the first functional coating layer and the second functional coating layer is 3B-8H, and the sum of the thickness of the first functional coating layer and the thickness of the second functional coating layer is 2-50 [mu] m.
