The method comprises the following steps: when charging equipment is accessed, automatically acquiring an access time point and equipment data of an electric vehicle and an equipment identifier of an accessed electric pile, inquiring and acquiring load power data of a current charging power grid according to the access time point, and determining a first charging coefficient and a second charging coefficient by utilizing the acquired equipment data and equipment identifier; and calculating the optimal charging pile output power by applying a preset charging model in combination with the first charging coefficient, the second charging coefficient and the power grid load power data, so as to automatically adjust the output power of the charging pile according to the calculation result and charge the charging equipment. By dynamically adjusting the output power, it is ensured that the charging process is carried out within the maximum load range allowed by the power grid, so that power grid resources are utilized to the maximum extent, the charging time is shortened, and the charging efficiency is improved.
