The seat and backrest linkage mechanism comprises a backrest framework, a cushion framework and a seat framework. The whole backrest framework is of a rectangular frame structure, the upper portions of the two sides are provided with backrest sliding rotating shafts facing the outer side, and the lower end of the backrest framework is provided with first shaft holes facing the side face. The whole seat framework is in an L shape, a cover plate is arranged on the outer side, pulley grooves are formed in the inner sides of the cover plates on the upper portions of the two sides of the seat framework and incline upwards from front to back, and a backrest sliding rotating shaft is installed in the pulley grooves. The cushion framework is a rectangular frame, a linear guide rail is arranged on the lower side, one side of the linear guide rail is connected with the bottom face of the cushion framework, and the other side of the linear guide rail is connected to the seat framework. Side mounting bases bent upwards are arranged on the two sides of the inner end of the cushion framework, second shaft holes are formed in the side mounting bases, and the first shaft holes and the second shaft holes are rotationally connected through pin shafts. The seat is adjusted without occupying the sitting space of passengers in the back row.
