Systems and methods for selecting a parking spot for a vehicle. A method of selecting a parking point for an autonomous vehicle. The method includes receiving a parking request to park an autonomous vehicle at a parking foundation facility and determining a parking priority for the autonomous vehicle. Parking spaces are allocated for the autonomous vehicle from a pool of available parking spaces based on the parking priority determined for the autonomous vehicle. A departure status of the autonomous vehicle is monitored to determine whether the autonomous vehicle is leaving the parking space. The parking space is associated with a pool of available parking spaces based on the departure state of the autonomous vehicle changing to departure from the parking space.
