The invention discloses a variable-diameter wheel system, an automobile and a variable-diameter driving method of the variable-diameter wheel system.The system comprises a hub, a variable-diameter driving device and a clutch device, the hub comprises a base part and a plurality of radial moving parts, and the radial moving parts are connected to the base part and can move in the radial direction relative to the base part so that the diameter of the hub can be changed; a power output part of the variable-diameter driving device is in transmission connection with the radial moving part of the hub, and a power input part of the variable-diameter driving device is in transmission connection with the base part of the hub through the clutch device. According to the variable-diameter wheel system, the hub can be manually driven to change the diameter, the rotating power of the hub can serve as the variable-diameter power of the hub, and the hub is driven to change the diameter by using the power element for driving the hub to rotate, so that the power element for driving the hub to change the diameter does not need to be additionally arranged, the overall size of the system is small, the occupied arrangement space is small, and the service life of the system is prolonged. When being applied to an automobile, the device can be arranged under the condition that the original automobile layout is not changed as much as possible.

    本申请公开一种变径轮系统、汽车、变径轮系统的变径驱动方法,该系统包括轮毂、变径驱动装置和离合装置,轮毂包括基础部和多个径向移动部,各径向移动部连于基础部并能够相对基础部径向移动,使轮毂的直径可变;变径驱动装置的动力输出部件与轮毂的径向移动部传动连接,变径驱动装置的动力输入部件通过离合装置与轮毂的基础部传动连接。该变径轮系统可以手动驱动轮毂变径,也可以将轮毂的旋转动力作为轮毂的变径动力,利用驱动轮毂旋转的动力元件驱动轮毂变径,因而,无需再额外配置驱动轮毂变径的动力元件,使得系统整体体积小,占用的布置空间小,因此,应用在汽车上时,在尽量不改变原车布局的情况下也能布置得开。
