The invention relates to an electrical charging infrastructure (12) for establishing an electrically conductive connection to a vehicle contact unit (16). The charging contact arrangement (12) has a ground contact unit (18), which has a plate-shaped base body (26) and a plurality of contacts (30) arranged on a charging surface (28) of the base body (26). The plurality of contacts (30) includes power supply contacts (32) associated with at least one potential layer. The power supply contacts (32) are each connected in series with a contact switch (38). The contact switches (38) are designed as mirrored contacts, such that each contact switch (38) comprises a main contact (40) and a monitoring contact (42), which are mechanically coupled but electrically isolated from each other. The charging infrastructure (12) has a monitoring circuit (20) configured for monitoring at least a respective switching position of a monitoring contact (42) of a contact switch (38) associated with a power contact (32) that is not contacted when an electrically conductive connection is present. The monitoring circuit (20) is configured for actuating the shut-off device (22).
