The invention relates to the field of automatic driving, and discloses a traffic area determination method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: determining a target object in a vehicle driving direction, the target object being located in an artificial potential field range of a vehicle, and the driving track of the target object having a risk of moving to a vehicle driving route; the artificial potential field range of the vehicle is related to the speed of the vehicle; determining an artificial potential field weight coefficient of the target object, and determining an artificial potential field of the target object based on the artificial potential field weight coefficient of the target object and the relative speed and the relative acceleration between the vehicle and the target object; and according to the artificial potential field of the target object, determining artificial potential fields of a plurality of positions in the artificial potential field range of the vehicle, and according to the artificial potential fields of the plurality of positions, determining a traffic area of the vehicle.
