The invention discloses a high-power over-charging and fast-charging dual-purpose direct-current charging system which comprises a plurality of charging terminals, a plurality of power supply modules, a plurality of first switching assemblies, a second switching assembly and a charging control module. Wherein the second switching assembly comprises parallel buses, a plurality of first switches and at least one second switch, wherein the number of the parallel buses is consistent with that of the overcharge terminals; each parallel bus is connected to an output bus of at least one power supply unit in the plurality of power supply modules through a first switch, and the output bus of each power supply unit is only connected to one parallel bus; any two parallel buses are connected through a second switch; the power supply unit connected with each overcharge terminal and the power supply units which are not connected with other overcharge terminals share a parallel bus; the charging system can reduce the number of direct current switches and simplify the control logic on the premise of meeting the charging requirement.
