The invention relates to the technical field of corrosion inhibitors, in particular to a corrosion inhibitor for a marine diesel engine cooling water system as well as a preparation method and application of the corrosion inhibitor, and the corrosion inhibitor is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: methyldiethanolamine, monoethanolamine, hexadecylamine, benzotriazole, polyaspartic acid, sodium polyacrylate, ternary polycarboxylic acid, aliphatic dibasic acid and neodecanoic acid. The cleaning agent is prepared from borax, alkylolamide, an epoxypropane condensate, an ethylene oxide condensate, a phosphono carboxylic acid copolymer, 2-phosphonobutane-1, 2, 4-tricarboxylic acid and the balance of purified water. The all-organic environment-friendly corrosion inhibition inhibitor belongs to a composite film-forming corrosion inhibition inhibitor combining a deposition film type and an adsorption film type, contains functional groups such as N, S, P and O, and contains a hydrophilic group capable of being adsorbed on a metal surface and a hydrophobic group capable of shielding the metal surface. Hydrophilic groups are directionally adsorbed on the surface of metal, and hydrophobic groups prevent water and dissolved oxygen from diffusing to the metal, so that the corrosion inhibition effect is achieved.
