The method comprises the steps that state information of an ignition switch in a vehicle and dormancy awakening state information of the vehicle are obtained; according to the state information of the ignition switch and the dormancy awakening state information, first detection is carried out on at least one abnormal condition in a plurality of abnormal conditions capable of causing the power shortage of the power supply in the vehicle, and prompt information used for indicating to process the abnormal condition detected by the first detection is output so as to prevent the power shortage of the power supply; acquiring electric quantity information of a power supply in the vehicle; and according to the sleep wake-up state information and the electric quantity information, carrying out second detection on abnormal conditions except the at least one abnormal condition in the plurality of abnormal conditions, and outputting prompt information for indicating to process the abnormal conditions detected by the second detection so as to prevent power shortage of the power supply. The method can prevent power shortage of the power supply.
