The invention relates to the field of Internet of Things, in particular to a charging security authentication method and device, edge gateway equipment and a storage medium, and the charging security authentication method comprises the steps: obtaining pre-fee deduction identification information which is generated by mobile equipment according to pre-fee deduction information, the pre-deduction information is generated by the cloud server according to charging information of a target charging pile in an off-network state; analyzing the pre-fee deduction identification information to obtain authentication information carried by the pre-fee deduction identification information; performing authentication according to the authentication information to obtain an authentication result; and sending a charging instruction to the charging pile according to the authentication result. According to the method, the edge gateway equipment is allowed to still process the charging authentication in the off-network state, data encryption and security in the charging process are realized through the authentication information, security vulnerabilities caused by network connection problems are reduced, and the security and stability in the charging process are improved.
