A vehicle determines a current state of charge of the vehicle and a current battery temperature of a battery of the vehicle. Based at least on the state of charge and the battery temperature, the vehicle determines a charge acceptance of the battery and determines whether the acceptance satisfies at least one predefined parameter of charging. The vehicle finds at least one charging station within a predefined proximity in response to the acceptance rate satisfying the at least one predefined parameter for which one or more known charge supply characteristics allow the at least one predefined parameter to be satisfied; and displaying the location of the at least one charging station.
