The invention provides a winch hoist rope automatic replacement trolley and a replacement method thereof.The winch hoist rope automatic replacement trolley comprises a rope winding device and a rope unwinding device which are arranged on the automatic trolley, the rope winding device and the rope unwinding device are the same in structure, the rope unwinding device comprises two supporting bases, a rotating rope disc is arranged between the two supporting bases, and a hydraulic motor is arranged on one side of each supporting base; the hydraulic motor is connected with the rotating rope disc, one side of the rope winding device and one side of the rope unwinding device are provided with an old steel wire rope winding device and a new steel wire rope winding device respectively, the old steel wire rope disc is arranged on the old steel wire rope winding device, and the new steel wire rope disc is arranged on the new steel wire rope winding device; a new steel wire rope on the rope unwinding device is connected with a winch rope winding shaft, the rope winding device is connected with a winch rope unwinding shaft, and the winch is started to synchronously replace the new steel wire rope and the old steel wire rope.
