The invention belongs to the field of intelligent traffic, and discloses a dynamic road section division-based expressway tunnel vehicle speed guiding method, which comprises the following steps of: obtaining CAVs information; dividing a basic road section according to CAVs position distribution; designing the number of clusters, namely the number of speed-limiting road sections; setting an optimal merging error function; a speed limit road section division strategy based on hierarchical clustering; and optimal speed limit road section division. According to the method, the speed change of the vehicle can be smoother, the traffic flow changing in real time can be dealt with, and excessive repeated or similar calculation processes can be reduced through a reasonable road section combination strategy. According to the method, the idea of dynamically dividing the road sections can effectively reduce the random influence caused by the time-space change characteristics of the traffic flow, and the position distribution of the CAVs is considered when the road sections are divided, so that the guiding effect of the CAVs on the HVs can be played. In conclusion, the safety and efficiency of traffic in the highway tunnel can be improved.
