In the scheme, the temperature of a battery pack is monitored when a vehicle is in a running state; when it is monitored that the temperature of the battery pack in the monitoring time period is lower than a battery heating closing temperature threshold value, acquiring temperature rise rate data and average output power of the battery pack in the monitoring time period; if it is determined that the battery pack meets a heating stopping condition according to the temperature rise rate data and the average output power, the battery heating component is controlled to stop heating the battery pack, and the heating stopping condition is that heat generated by charging and discharging of the battery pack is sufficient to heat the battery pack to a battery heating closing temperature threshold value; and the average output power of the battery pack can support normal running of the vehicle. According to the technical scheme, the battery heating component is controlled to stop heating the battery pack before the temperature of the battery pack reaches the battery heating closing temperature threshold value, the energy consumption of the battery pack is reduced, and the cruising ability of the vehicle is improved.
