The invention discloses a copper-silver alloy stranded wire for a railway. The copper-silver alloy stranded wire meets the requirements of train acceleration, long-distance climbing and train power supply under special working conditions of mountainous road sections. The cable comprises a central unit which is composed of a single copper-silver alloy filament or a copper-silver alloy stranded unit; the peripheral stranded layer comprises at least one stranded layer, and each unit in the adhesive layer is a single copper-silver alloy monofilament or a copper-silver alloy stranded unit; when the central unit is a single copper-silver alloy monofilament, each unit of the peripheral twisted layer is an equal-diameter copper-silver alloy monofilament; when the center is the copper-silver alloy stranded unit, each unit of the peripheral adhesive layer is the same copper-silver alloy stranded unit, and each group of copper-silver alloy stranded unit is formed by stranding a center copper-silver alloy single wire and a layer of peripheral copper-silver alloy single wire stranded units; and when the central unit is a central stranded unit formed by stranding a plurality of groups of copper-silver alloy stranded units, each unit of the peripheral stranded layer is the same copper-silver alloy stranded unit.
