The invention provides an ejection system of a spacecraft and a method for helping the spacecraft to operate by using the ejection system, and the system consists of a base on the spacecraft flying near a small space celestial body, an ejection driver on the base, a touch device capable of being pushed by the ejection driver, a tether connected with the spacecraft and a tether winding device, the ejection driver comprises a motor and an ejection mechanism or a curved bar or a mechanical arm device driven by the motor through a transmission device, a touch device can be directly pushed or pulled to eject or stretch out, and the touch device can touch or fall to the surface of a nearby small celestial body. The touch device connected with the tether is dragged or collided with the surface of the small celestial body at the rear lower part or the lower part or the front lower part of the spacecraft, and the touch device is subjected to counter-acting force of the surface of the small celestial body towards the rear part or the front upper part or the upper part or the rear upper part, so that the flying mechanical energy or speed or orbit height or flying direction of the spacecraft is changed; and meanwhile, the fuel consumption of the jet engine is avoided or reduced.
