The invention provides an intermetallic compound layered composite material containing residual aluminum as well as a preparation method and application of the intermetallic compound layered composite material, and belongs to the technical field of composite materials. The composite material provided by the invention comprises n TC4 layers, n-1 Al layers and 2n-2 intermetallic compound layers, the TC4 layers and the Al layers are alternately arranged, and the intermetallic compound layer is located between the TC4 layers and the Al layers. The crack propagation path can be obviously deviated through a large number of heterogeneous interfaces between layers, and the crack propagation energy is consumed, so that the effect of enhancing the toughness of the material is achieved; and by introducing the residual aluminum layer, the extensibility is improved while high strength is obtained, and an innovative design thought and a feasible technical means are provided for strengthening and toughening design of the composite material. The result of the embodiment shows that the maximum tensile strength of the composite material provided by the invention can reach 640 MPa, and the maximum elongation can reach 4.6%.
本发明提供了一种含残余铝的金属间化合物层状复合材料及其制备方法和应用,属于复合材料技术领域。本发明提供的复合材料,包括n个TC4层、n‑1个Al层和2n‑2个金属间化合物层;所述TC4层和Al层交替排布,所述金属间化合物层位于TC4层和Al层的中间。本发明通过层与层之间大量异质界面能够显著偏移裂纹扩展路径,消耗裂纹扩展能量,从而达到增强材料韧性的效果;通过引入残余铝层,在获得高强度的同时提升了延伸性,为实现复合材料强韧化设计提供了创新性设计思路和可行性技术手段。实施例的结果显示,本发明提供的复合材料的抗拉强度最大可达640MPa,延伸率最大可达4.6%。
