The invention discloses a parking brake system. The device comprises an outer shell, and a transmission shaft transversely penetrates through the outer shell; a front brake disc, a brake friction disc, a rear brake disc, an electromagnetic coil assembly and a speed relay are sequentially arranged outside the transmission shaft and inside the outer shell in a sleeving manner; one end of the first counter-force spring is located in front of the front brake disc and connected with the transmission shaft, and the other end penetrates through the front brake disc and is connected with the brake friction disc; one end of the second counter-force spring is located behind the rear brake disc and connected with the transmission shaft, and the other end penetrates through the rear brake disc and is connected with the brake friction disc; one end of the third counter-force spring is located in the center of the electromagnetic coil assembly and connected with the transmission shaft, and the other end is connected with the rear brake disc; a fourth counter-force spring is arranged between the front brake disc and the rear brake disc; the electromagnetic coil assembly is connected with the parking control position switches in series, and the two ends of the parking control position switches are connected with the speed relay in parallel. According to the invention, the action of braking or releasing braking can be automatically completed.
