The invention discloses a traffic signal control method for a straight-going waiting area of a signalized intersection, and the method comprises the steps: calculating a straight-going traffic flow rate, a straight-going lane saturation degree and a straight-going lane green light saturation flow rate in each signal cycle time according to a signal timing scheme of the signalized intersection and traffic data of the signalized intersection in each signal cycle time; constructing a queuing model of the number of vehicles queued on the straight lane, and calculating the maximum number of vehicles queued on the straight lane within the current signal cycle time; calculating the maximum queuing length of the straight vehicles in the current signal period and the queuing length of the vehicles passing through the straight lane in the effective green light time of the current signal period; by analyzing the relationship among the vehicle queuing length, the green light vehicle queuing length and the straight going waiting area length, the use adaptability of the straight going waiting area is effectively improved, the traffic delay of the intersection can be reduced, the secondary start and stop times of the vehicles are reduced, and the traffic carbon emission of the intersection is reduced, so that the traffic capacity of the intersection is improved to the maximum extent.

    本发明公开了一种信号交叉口直行待行区交通信号控制方法,根据信号交叉口的信号配时方案以及信号交叉口在每个信号周期时间内的交通数据,计算每个信号周期时间内的直行交通流率、直行车道饱和度以及直行车道绿灯饱和流率;构建直行车道排队车辆数量的排队模型,计算当前信号周期时间内直行车道车辆最大排队车辆数;计算当前信号周期内直行车辆最大排队长度以及在当前信号周期的有效绿灯时间内通过直行车道的车辆排队长度;分析车辆排队长度与绿灯放行车辆排队长度、直行待行区长度的关系,有效提高直行待行区使用的适应性,又能减少路口交通延误,减少车辆二次启停次数,降低交叉口交通碳排放量,从而最大限度提升交叉口的通行能力。
