The invention belongs to the technical field of smart cities, and particularly discloses a smart city management method and system based on cloud computing and image recognition, and the method comprises the steps: carrying out the target detection and region-of-interest extraction through collecting continuous crossing monitoring images of a target road section at a traffic crossing, and obtaining a lane region image; pixel-by-pixel comparison difference processing and enhancement processing are carried out on the lane area image and the corresponding area reference image to obtain an enhanced difference gray level image, threshold segmentation and binarization processing are carried out on the enhanced difference gray level image, a foreground area is extracted to calculate density index parameters, and the density index parameters are calculated; and finally, judging whether the target road section is congested for a long time based on the density index parameters of the continuous crossing monitoring images, so as to send a corresponding traffic signal lamp duration adjusting instruction and adjust the duration of the traffic signal lamp at the traffic crossing. According to the invention, traffic dispersion requirements of corresponding road sections can be effectively adapted, the smoothness and convenience of urban traffic are improved, and efficient smart city management is realized.

    本发明属于智慧城市技术领域,具体公开了一种基于云计算和图像识别的智慧城市管理方法及系统,通过采集交通路口处目标路段的连续道口监测图像进行目标检测和感兴趣区域提取,得到车道区域图像,然后将车道区域图像与相应区域参考图像进行逐像素对比差分处理和增强处理,得到增强差分灰度图像,再对增强差分灰度图像进行阈值分割和二值化处理,并提取前景区域计算密度指标参数,最后基于连续道口监测图像的密度指标参数判断目标路段是否产生长时间拥堵,以发送相应的交通信号灯时长调节指令,对交通路口的交通信号灯进行时长调节。本发明可以有效适配相应路段的交通疏导需求,提升城市交通的顺畅度和便利性,实现高效的智慧城市管理。
