The invention provides a double-battery-pack battery system control strategy which comprises a battery system working mode recognition method, a power-on control method, a battery pack normal power-off control method and a fault power-off control method, and the power-on control method comprises a single-pack high-voltage control method and a double-pack high-voltage control method. The battery pack normal power-off control method comprises a single-pack normal power-off control method and a double-pack normal power-off control method, and the fault power-off control method comprises a single-pack fault power-off control method and a double-pack fault power-off control method. The two battery packs are independently controlled by the two battery management systems respectively, so that when one battery pack of the vehicle breaks down and needs to be maintained, the other battery pack can be used for achieving single-pack operation, and therefore different use requirements can be well met.
