The method comprises the steps that when the heat pump system is in a heating mode, first actual measurement data are obtained; determining a target mode of the heat pump system based on the first measured data; if the target mode is a first heat pump mode, a target device corresponding to the first heat pump mode is controlled to work, and the first heat pump mode is a mode that a first heat pump loop and a second heat pump loop do not exchange heat; and if the target mode is a second heat pump mode, a target device corresponding to the second heat pump mode is controlled to work, and the second heat pump mode is a heat exchange mode of the first heat pump loop and the second heat pump loop. According to the method, the heating volatility of the heat pump system can be reduced, the heating stability of the heat pump system is effectively improved, the purpose of stable heating is achieved, and the comfort experience of a user is improved.
