The invention discloses a control method for steering instruction input equipment. The control method comprises the steps that S1, input signals 2A/2B are detected through a controller; s2, capturing interruption by using a timer, counting by adopting a CNT signal of the timer, and capturing a rising edge and a falling edge of the signal 2A to calculate a duty ratio of the signal 2A; s3, calculating the duty ratio of the signal 2B by using a low-frequency clock; and S4, the obtained duty ratio of the signal 2A and the duty ratio of the signal 2B are processed through an algorithm to calculate an instruction angle. According to the control method for the steering instruction input device, the timer is used for capturing interruption, the CNT of the timer is used for counting and calculating the duty ratio of the signal 2A, the low-frequency clock is used for calculating the duty ratio of the signal 2B, and finally the instruction angle is obtained through algorithm processing, so that the sampling frequency is improved, the sampling error is reduced, and the control precision is improved. An angle input instruction is ensured to be stable without jumping; and meanwhile, the interruption frequency of the controller is reduced, and controller resources are released.
