An electric actuator according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: an output shaft; a motor; a decelerator; a rotation sensor that detects a rotation angle of the output shaft; a current sensor that detects a value of current flowing through the motor; and a control unit that controls the motor. The outer peripheral edge of the first member is provided with a valley portion having a bottom portion, a first inclined surface, and a second inclined surface. The control unit performs: a first acquisition step for acquiring, as a first rotation angle, a detection angle of the rotation sensor when a current value detected by the current sensor exceeds a first threshold value when the motor is driven and the contact position passes through the first inclined surface; and a calculation step for calculating and storing a bottom position rotation angle using the first rotation angle in a state where the contact position is located at the bottom. In the first acquisition step, the control unit updates the first rotation angle whenever the current value detected by the current sensor exceeds a first threshold value.

    本发明的电动致动器的一个方式具备:输出轴;马达;减速器;检测输出轴的旋转角度的旋转传感器;检测流过马达的电流值的电流传感器;以及控制马达的控制部。在第一部件的外周缘上设置有谷部,谷部具有底部、第一倾斜面以及第二倾斜面。控制部进行如下工序:第一取得工序,在驱动马达并且接触位置经过第一倾斜面时,取得由电流传感器检测出的电流值超过第一阈值时的旋转传感器的检测角度作为第一旋转角度;以及运算工序,使用第一旋转角度运算接触位置位于底部的状态下的底位置旋转角度并存储。在第一取得工序中,每当由电流传感器检测出的电流值超过第一阀值时,控制部更新第一旋转角度。
