The method comprises the following steps: firstly, acquiring a plurality of to-be-detected images with a continuous current time sequence, and then determining whether a target head posture angle and a target eye sight angle of a target driver in any to-be-detected image are detected or not for the to-be-detected image; if so, determining a single-frame attention result corresponding to the to-be-detected image based on a target head posture angle and a target eye sight angle corresponding to the to-be-detected image; and further, based on the single-frame attention result corresponding to each to-be-detected image, determining whether the target driver is in a distracted driving state or not. The attention state of the driver is monitored through the head posture angle and the eye sight angle together, the accuracy of monitoring the attention of the driver can be improved, and therefore potential safety hazards in the driving process can be found in time.
