The invention discloses a marine transportation binding method based on a gantry crane. The marine transportation binding method comprises the steps that the stress condition of a cylinder is analyzed; the fixing positions of the upper-layer steel twisted rope and the lower-layer steel twisted rope are determined; and determining whether the strength of the upper-layer steel strand rope and the lower-layer steel strand rope is within a safety range or not when the upper-layer steel strand rope and the lower-layer steel strand rope are subjected to the maximum force. According to the invention, a series of problems such as abnormal sound of the rotary large bearing during normal work caused by overlarge local stress at the pull lug, local deformation of the cylinder body and plane deformation of the rotary flange due to overlarge stress of the steel strand caused by overlarge marine transportation stress are solved.
