The invention relates to a quick release floating type offshore wind power mooring system and a release method thereof, the quick release floating type offshore wind power mooring system comprises an environment detection and forecast system and a centralized control center, the environment detection and forecast system and the centralized control center are connected with a mooring system release system, and the mooring system release system comprises a release device and a platform auxiliary propeller; the release method comprises the following steps that the centralized control center judges whether platform evacuation is needed or not; after an evacuation instruction is obtained, the platform auxiliary propeller enables the target mooring cable to enter a loose state; the platform end anchor chain and the lower anchor chain are separated by the anchor chain separating device, so that the target mooring cable completely lies to the bottom; other remaining mooring cables are released, so that the platform is released from the mooring system; the platform is avoided; after the extreme environmental condition is finished, the buoy drainage system is started, and the buoy drags the mooring rope of the lying bottom section to float in water; and the mooring rope on one side of the platform is connected with the mooring rope on the buoy, and the other remaining mooring ropes are connected in sequence, so that the platform is completely connected with the mooring system.
