The invention relates to an energy recovery system and method, a computer readable storage medium and a vehicle, and relates to the technical field of automobile braking. The energy recovery system comprises a hydraulic oil tank, a hydraulic pump, a switching device, a power generation device and a controller. The hydraulic pump is provided with a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet, and the liquid inlet is communicated with the hydraulic oil tank. An input shaft of the hydraulic pump is in transmission connection with a wheel driving shaft. The switching device is provided with an inlet end, a first outlet end and a second outlet end, the inlet end is communicated with the liquid outlet, the first outlet end is communicated with the hydraulic oil tank through a first pipeline, and the second outlet end is communicated with the hydraulic oil tank through a second pipeline. The power generation device is arranged on the second pipeline. And the controller is electrically connected with the switching device. The energy recovery system can be used for recycling the braking energy of the vehicle.
