The invention provides a floating connection mechanism and charging equipment. The floating connecting mechanism comprises a base, a guide assembly and a floating assembly. The guide assembly comprises a guide seat, and the guide seat is connected with the base in the axial direction. The floating assembly comprises a floating seat, the floating seat is movably connected with the guide seat in the axial direction, the transverse gap between the floating seat at the first position and the guide seat in the transverse direction is larger than the transverse gap between the floating seat at the second position, and the transverse direction is perpendicular to the axial direction. According to the floating connection mechanism and the charging equipment, the floating seat is provided with the large transverse gap at the first position, so that the floating seat can swing within the range of the transverse gap at the first position to realize floating connection; when the floating seat moves to the second position in the axial direction, the transverse position of the floating seat can be corrected due to the fact that the transverse gap between the floating seat and the guide seat is small.
