The invention provides a stiffness and damping self-adaptive double-adjustment hydro-pneumatic suspension and an adjustment method thereof, and relates to the technical field of hydro-pneumatic suspensions.The stiffness and damping self-adaptive double-adjustment hydro-pneumatic suspension comprises a variable damping assembly, a variable stiffness assembly and a controller, and the variable damping assembly is connected with the variable stiffness assembly in parallel; the variable damping assembly and the variable rigidity assembly are arranged between a frame and wheels, and the controller is connected with the variable damping assembly and the variable rigidity assembly; the controller is used for obtaining parameter information and road condition information of the vehicle in the damping adjusting process; based on the parameter information and the road condition information, the excitation frequency of the vehicle is determined; determining a required damping value corresponding to the excitation frequency of the vehicle based on a stiffness damping frequency mapping relation; and on the basis of the required damping value, a control instruction for controlling the variable-rigidity assembly is generated, the rigidity can be adjusted while the damping is adjusted, adjustment is convenient and reliable, and therefore stepless adjustment of the rigidity and the damping is achieved.
