The invention provides a charging pile cable and a manufacturing method thereof, the charging pile cable comprises a cable core, the cable core at least comprises a wire group, the wire group comprises a copper-silver mixed conductor, the outer side of the copper-silver mixed conductor is sequentially provided with a thermoplastic elastomer insulating layer and a nylon 12 layer from inside to outside, and the thermoplastic elastomer insulating layer and the nylon 12 layer are arranged on the outer side of the cable core. The total thickness of the thermoplastic elastomer insulating layer and the nylon 12 layer is less than or equal to half of the thickness of a conventional cable insulating layer; therefore, the charging efficiency of the charging pile cable is ensured, the thin wall of the charging pile cable is realized, and the use flexibility and the heat dissipation performance of the cable are improved.
