The invention provides an energy-saving control method and related equipment for a vehicle-mounted multimedia navigation terminal, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining navigation data generated by the vehicle-mounted multimedia navigation terminal, collected user behavior data and operation data of vehicle-mounted equipment; predicting a plurality of multimedia functions to be realized in the predicted driving interval according to the data, performing data unloading analysis on the functions, and determining a plurality of target functions from the functions; performing energy consumption modeling according to the functional element of the target function to obtain a functional energy consumption model, and determining a target function of the functional energy consumption model; and generating a dynamic power adjustment strategy of the vehicle-mounted multimedia navigation terminal according to a preset optimization algorithm and the target function, and realizing energy-saving control according to the strategy. According to the method, the power strategy of the vehicle-mounted multimedia navigation terminal is dynamically adjusted, so that the system energy consumption is effectively reduced and the energy utilization efficiency is improved on the premise of ensuring the user experience.
