The method comprises the following steps that whether a current vehicle meets the entering condition of crawling starting torque control or not is judged; determining a brake coefficient BrkPedPct according to the pressure value of the brake master cylinder; according to the braking coefficient BrkPedpct and the road slope value, the compensation coefficient KTqFacSlope of the crawling starting target torque is determined; determining a creeping target torque rise rate correction coefficient KTqGrdtFacSlope according to the vehicle speed and the road slope value; the output torque is controlled according to the crawling starting target torque and the crawling target torque rising speed; judging whether a crawling starting torque control exit condition is met or not; and outputting the torque. According to the method, the slipping risk of the vehicle during uphill crawling starting is reduced, the problems of forward shifting and irregularity during crawling starting of the vehicle are solved, the uphill crawling starting performance of the vehicle is ensured, the vehicle performance better conforms to the subjective intention of a driver, and the driving experience of the vehicle is improved while the driving safety of the vehicle on a slope is ensured.
