A vehicle control method includes defining a set of a plurality of workloads, each workload including: a workload descriptor and at least one containerized image configured to perform at least one vehicle control process, the workload descriptor defining a security level of the workload; one or more vehicle system resources used by the at least one containerized image of the workload; and a vehicle system location for performing containerized mirroring. The method includes allocating a vehicle system resource to each workload according to a workload descriptor, wherein the vehicle system resource includes at least one of a central processor utilization, a graphics processor utilization, a memory size, an artificial intelligence accelerator, or a video codec; performing a vehicle control process of containerized mirroring of the plurality of workloads; and in response to the vehicle system resource conflict, allocating higher priority resource access to workloads having critical security levels.
