The invention provides an extended-range power assembly and an extended-range electric vehicle. The extended-range power assembly comprises a generator, a motor, two gear sets and two shells. The two gear sets are contained after the two shells are enclosed, the motor drives wheels of the vehicle through one gear set, and the other gear set is in transmission connection with the engine and the generator. The gear set connected with the motor comprises an input shaft, an intermediate shaft and an output shaft. A shell comprises three bearing chambers and two oil ducts, and the three bearing chambers are used for fixing outer rings of bearings of the input shaft, the middle shaft and the output shaft respectively. One oil duct is communicated with the bearing chamber of the input shaft and the bearing chamber of the intermediate shaft, and the other oil duct is communicated with the bearing chamber of the intermediate shaft and the bearing chamber of the output shaft. Thus, lubricating oil in the bearing chamber of the input shaft can sequentially flow into the bearing chamber of the intermediate shaft and the bearing chamber of the output shaft, the lubricating oil in the bearing chamber of the input shaft can be shared by the three bearing chambers, and the utilization rate and the lubricating effect of the lubricating oil are improved.
