The invention relates to a transformation method of a parallel escalator and the parallel escalator.     本申请涉及一种并列扶梯的改造方法及并列扶梯。并列扶梯的改造方法包括如下步骤:采用吊机吊住并列扶梯的上部总装组件,再切割去除并列扶梯的原桁架中间部位的旧的中间桁架单片,然后将上部总装组件整体一次吊出;采用底部横梁将原桁架的第一侧桁架单片和第二侧桁架单片焊接为一体以组成新桁架;在生产车间制作新的中间桁架单片,并将新的中间桁架单片与上部总装组件装配为一体;将一体结构的新的中间桁架单片和上部总装组件运输至改造现场并吊装至新桁架中并焊接固定;安装主机、梯级等部件以组成新的并列扶梯。大大缩短了改造周期时长,很好的保留了旧梯部件而能回收再利用,并且有效降低了改造难度,并进一步缩短了改造周期。
