The invention relates to a holding device for holding a drag cone and comprising: a base for supporting the holding device on a bearing surface; a retaining portion secured to the base and comprising a bracket and a plurality of flexible retainers arranged circumferentially around the bracket, the flexible retainers having a first end and an opposite second end, where the first end is secured to the bracket and the second end is a free end extending toward an interior of the bracket to form a retaining opening in a towing direction, a circumferential dimension of the retaining opening is smaller than a circumferential dimension of the base of the cone body of the drag cone. The holding device is used for holding or fixing the cone body of the towing cone on the runway before the airplane takes off, and the cone body is prevented from accidentally moving to damage facilities on the two sides of the airport runway, the airplane and the like. And meanwhile, when the airplane takes off, the cone body of the drag cone can be smoothly separated from the retaining device, so that the test flight safety is guaranteed. In addition, the invention also relates to a towing cone system and an aircraft test method.
