The invention discloses a ship cabin tightness U-shaped meter which comprises a bottom plate, a U-shaped pipe part and a ruler. A ruler is arranged in the middle of the bottom plate, the U-shaped pipe part comprises a first vertical pipe, a second vertical pipe and a bottom bent pipe, the first vertical pipe and the second vertical pipe are arranged on the bottom plate and located on the two sides of the ruler respectively, and the bottom of the first vertical pipe and the bottom of the second vertical pipe are communicated through the bottom bent pipe; the bottom bent pipe is connected with a bottom branch pipe used for feeding water into the U-shaped pipe part or discharging water out of the U-shaped pipe part. According to the ship cabin tightness U-shaped meter, a tool is standardized, and the detection accuracy is effectively improved; the tool can quickly adjust the height of a water column through a bottom pipeline, and reduces the detection preparation time; in the cabin tightness experiment process, alarm and pressure relief can be performed if the cabin is overpressure, and deformation of the cabin structure caused by the overpressure is avoided.
