The invention discloses a method and system for automatically adjusting damping of a steering wheel and a vehicle, and belongs to the technical field of vehicle control. The method comprises the following steps that a pressure signal applied to the surface of the steering wheel by a driver is obtained; performing signal conversion on the pressure signal so as to convert the pressure signal into an analog voltage signal or a digital signal; performing further data processing and analysis on the analog voltage signal or the digital signal through an electronic control unit of the vehicle to obtain analysis data; damping adjustment data are calculated in real time based on the analysis data, and a motor in the steering system is driven according to the damping adjustment data so as to adjust the damping force of a steering wheel. The damping of the steering wheel can be adaptively adjusted according to the current steering wheel holding force of each driver, and the drivers are helped to drive an automobile more easily and safely.
