The present invention provides a variable transmittance optical laminate and a use thereof. The variable transmittance optical laminate comprises: a first polarizing plate; a first transparent conductive layer formed on one surface of the first polarizing plate; a first alignment film formed on the first transparent conductive layer; a second polarizing plate facing the first polarizing plate; a second transparent conductive layer formed on one surface of the second polarizing plate and facing the first transparent conductive layer; a second alignment film formed on the second transparent conductive layer; and a liquid crystal layer provided between the first alignment film and the second alignment film, the liquid crystal layer including a polymer network and a liquid crystal compound, the liquid crystal compound being arranged in a uniform initial alignment. The variable transmittance optical laminate of the present invention can prevent the problem of damage to an alignment film or difficulty in maintaining an in-plane constant optical color due to conventional use of a spacer, thereby improving driving stability compared to conventional optical laminates.

    本发明提供透过率可变光学层叠体及其用途,上述透过率可变光学层叠体包含:第一偏光板;第一透明导电层,其形成于上述第一偏光板的一面上;第一取向膜,其形成于上述第一透明导电层上;第二偏光板,其与上述第一偏光板相对;第二透明导电层,其形成于上述第二偏光板的一面上,且与上述第一透明导电层相对;第二取向膜,其形成于上述第二透明导电层上;以及液晶层,其设置于上述第一取向膜与第二取向膜之间,上述液晶层包含高分子网络和液晶化合物,上述液晶化合物以均匀的初始取向排列。本发明的透过率可变光学层叠体能够防止以往使用间隔物所致的取向膜损伤或难以保持面内恒定的光学颜色的问题,由此与以往光学层叠体相比,提高驱动稳定性。
