The charging pile comprises a direct current output device which is connected with a power grid and is used for generating first direct current and second direct current based on electric energy provided by the power grid and charging a power battery on a new energy vehicle based on the first direct current; the energy storage equipment is connected with the direct current output equipment and is used for storing the second direct current transmitted by the direct current output equipment; and the alternating current output equipment is connected with the energy storage equipment and used for converting the electric energy stored by the energy storage equipment into target alternating current and supplying power to target energy utilization equipment on the new energy vehicle based on the target alternating current, and the target energy utilization equipment is used for representing energy utilization equipment except the power battery on the new energy vehicle. The technical problem that the charging efficiency of the new energy vehicle is low in the related technology is solved.
