The invention relates to a palladium ruthenium three-way catalyst which comprises a front-stage catalyst assembly and a rear-stage catalyst assembly, an air inlet flange and an air inlet cone assembly are sequentially arranged above the front-stage catalyst assembly, and a ruthenium-containing catalytic assembly is installed in the front-stage catalyst assembly. A support assembly, an air outlet cone assembly and an air outlet flange assembly are sequentially arranged below the front-stage catalyst assembly assembly. The stage catalyst assembly component is sequentially provided with a rear-stage catalyst component containing ruthenium, a silencer assembly component and a tail section pipe component from left to right. The ruthenium element is innovatively introduced for use, the use amount of the rhodium element is reduced, the cost of an exhaust system can be effectively controlled through the design, the emission reduction effect of the exhaust system is equivalent to that of a traditional three-way catalyst scheme, and forward research and development of automobile enterprises are facilitated.
