The invention discloses a wood component lifting device and a wood component mounting method. The wood component lifting device comprises a steel frame structure and a lifting mechanism, the steel frame structure comprises a steel frame body and first rod pieces, a cavity is formed in the steel frame body, the outer side face of the steel frame body is divided into a first area and a second area, the first rod pieces are arranged in the first area, so that the steel frame body is hollowed out in the first area, and the second rod pieces are arranged in the second area. The two ends of the first rod piece are detachably connected with the steel frame body so that the wood component can enter the cavity from the first area, and the steel frame body is hollowed out in the second area. The lifting mechanism is installed on the top of the steel frame structure, and a lifting hook of the lifting mechanism is used for being connected with the wood component to lift at least one end of the wood component. The wood component mounting method comprises the steps that a wood column is lifted to be in a vertical state from a horizontal state; and the wood beam in the horizontal state is lifted to be connected with the two wood columns. The method is applied to the technical field of building structure installation.
