The invention discloses a self-coupling type self-positioning floating body device which comprises a floating body floating on the water surface and further comprises a floating body positioning self-adjusting system, the floating body positioning self-adjusting system comprises two rotary drum components which are horizontally arranged in parallel at intervals, and the rotary drum components are arranged in the water flow direction and rotatably installed on the floating body; a front-end cable is wound at the front end of the drum component, a rear-end cable is wound at the rear end of the drum component, the lower end of the front-end cable is obliquely anchored underwater towards the front lower side, and the lower end of the rear-end cable is obliquely anchored underwater towards the lower side; a rotating shaft is rotatably installed in the middle of the two rotating cylinder components, a lifting rope is further wound on the rotating shaft, and a balance weight driving block is arranged below the lifting rope in a suspended mode. The invention also discloses a floating facility positioning method realized by adopting the device. The floating facility has the advantages that the floating facility can adapt to water level rising and falling, and accurate positioning can be better achieved.
