The pedal type folding scooter comprises a chassis frame, a seat and a backrest, the front side of the bottom of the chassis frame is connected with a front wheel assembly through a reversing assembly, and the rear side of the bottom of the chassis frame is connected with a rear wheel assembly through a brake type driving assembly; a power supply assembly electrically connected with the brake type driving assembly is arranged on the rear side of the bottom of the chassis frame. The reversing assembly upwards penetrates through the chassis frame and is connected with a foldable operating rod; the seat is connected to the chassis frame in a foldable mode through the support assembly. The support assembly is connected with a foot-stepping folding assembly below the seat, and the foot-stepping folding assembly is used for conveniently stepping the seat to be folded. According to the folding seat structure, the pedal folding assembly is matched with the support assembly, a user can conveniently and rapidly fold the seat, the additionally-arranged operation rod and the seat structure can also be rapidly folded, operation of the user is easy, the use experience of the user is improved, and high practicability is achieved.
