The invention provides a method and a device for determining charging remaining time, and the method comprises the steps: when a battery is charged and a first battery cell voltage of the battery at the current moment and a second battery cell voltage when the battery starts to be charged are obtained, determining the charging remaining time from n charging stages, determining an ith charging stage corresponding to the first battery cell voltage and a jth charging stage corresponding to the second battery cell voltage, and for each charging stage, determining a first charge state of each charging stage according to the current environment temperature, the cut-off voltage, the charging current and the first battery cell voltage, determining a second charge state of each charging stage according to the current environment temperature, the cut-off voltage, the charging current and the second battery cell voltage, determining a first predicted value and a second predicted value of the charging remaining time according to the battery capacity, the first charge state, the second charge state and the charging current, and determining a second charge state of each charging stage according to the first predicted value and the second predicted value. A target value for the remaining charging time is determined. Therefore, the prediction precision of the remaining charging time is improved.
